What a day today has been! It seems like it has been quite the roller coaster ride! Today started off like any other typical day... waking up having coffee, visiting with my DH, blog surfing etc... you get the pic.
This afternoon my DH and I left to go run an errand and on our way to our destination our car just totally whacked out on us!!! Total punch in the gut, because this errand was really really important to us, but we had to turn around and head back home. :(
I was trying to keep my head up and think positive thoughts that EVERYTHING was going to be OK. So when I got home I took a VERY long nap! :)
(Hang on here folks I am going somewhere "scrapping" related! :))
After my nap I got up and decided to do a little blog surfing and as I was scrolling through all of my favorite blogs I came across one that was announcing a "winner", which those "winner" blog titles ALWAYS catches my eye! I do like entering or leaving comments for those who offer giveaways not really ever anticipating that I would win, but it never hurts to try... especially when you are new to this exciting world of card making and not having a lot of product to play around with. As I opened up this one particular blog I saw the name "Yvette", but thought to myself hey, there are lots of Yvette's, but I clicked on it and it went straight to my blog! Can you say, Wozzzersss!!! Talking about doing a dance, running through the house yelling, "I won, I won"!!! My day just got better! :)
I have won once before, which totally blew me out of the water, because I really really did not think "people like myself" really won. But I am here to say YES, even people like me win!!!
I'm just really excited and wanted to share... trust me, I am NOT the bragging type at all... I'm really a pretty shy introverted type of person and since I have not posted any of my cards online yet, I figured I needed to come up with something to blog about to keep this thing going.
Hopefully I did not bore you too bad.
Jimmi, THANK YOU so much for your generosity and for being soooo sweet!!!

Hi Yvette, Winning isn't everything, but it sure helps when things aren't going the way we'd like them to. Remember...If you want to see God laugh, make plans. Can't wait to see some of your cards. I don't have fancy light box contraptions, but find that taking pictures outdoors helps. I'm usually satisfied with the end result. BTW, your blog is lovely, and I found you through a comment you made at Joan's Garden.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for you! Can't wait to see what you create with your goodies!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the win!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!! :D
