Happy Friday friends!!!

It may look that way too. ;) This morning I started off not having anything to share with you, because I've been working on some projects for the upcoming release for the Wildflower Patch, which by the way is FEBRUARY 3rd!!! (I can hardly wait!!!) So I thought to myself I cannot go without posting something! So I put this together in less than 15 minutes! Yay for 15 minute cards! heeehee.
Here is the matching envelope and inside of my card.
Ok ladies that's it for me today. I've got to get back to work on my other projects! I cannot wait to show you!!! Let's just say that I thought outside of the "box"! :D

CHA Relay Day 3 Toby Cub

Hey everyone! Hope you all are having a fantastic week!
Let me start off by saying that today's image was quite the challenge for me. As you can tell I don't have ANY experience in the "fur" department, so I found this very hard to color. Guess I've grown accustomed to coloring people, but at least now I have this cute little cub to practice on! :D
Thank you all once again for stopping by today. I will leave you with the two photos below. I may be back a little later with something else to share.

No Girls Allowed

Hi everyone!
Today I have another project to share with you
that I've been working on for a couple of DAYS. I had to ask myself
on the second day of creating this , WHY do I get myself into
making these time consuming projects????
My answer... guess I just LOVE them! lol
As I was looking over the, Wildflower Kids No Girls Allowed, stamp
set I knew I wanted to make some type of club house or
tree house for Sage and Rye.
Here is my feeble attempt at making distressed wood for
their "tree house". :D
For the faux wood I used Kim's idea here, however I did
have to improvise on a few things that she used in her
tutorial. For the window I used the
Quickutz Window that I purchased from DCRU and the tree limbs
I made using my Cricut. I was a little afraid to make
any type of markings on the limbs to make them more life like.
At this point in the game I sure did not want to start over on anything! lol
Maybe next time I will try to spruce up the trees! :)
I knew that this tree house had to have Dutch doors. How fun!! I used
brads for the door handles and a circle punch for the window. Also
I used acetate for the window panes.
Thank you all so much for sharing your day with me! If you have
ANY questions regarding my project today please don't hesitate to ask!
Just leave your question in the comment section below.
TTYL!!! :D
Was going to mention one other thing... The top portion of the door is open... Maybe
I will take a few more pics at different angles so you can see. :D

TGIF!!!

Hello Everyone!!! Happy Friday to you!! :)
Today I have Valentine Lily to share with you.
She is super cute and TONS of fun to color! You can
find her over at the Patch! She is digi, so that
means instant gratification! I think I'm beginning to lean
more towards digis than rubber! Not to say
that I don't like my rubber, because I do! :) With digis though
you don't really have to sit there and wait for your ink
to dry or worry about if you are using the right type of ink with
the right type of paper! I {heart} digis!

Well, I will not keep you here any longer. Remember you can find
Valentine Lily and a bunch of other cuties in Jens shop,
Thanks so much for visiting today! :D

Daydream

Good morning everyone!!! Happy Sunday to you!

Remember yesterday when I mentioned that the wheels were already spinning for my next project? Well, mossssst of if came to pass! Yay! As you can see below I tried creating a scene for this super Sassy Studio Design image. This is one of their new releases called, "I'm Every Woman". Cute huh?

I paper pieced the tub, claws and woman. I stickled the bubbles after applying a little Copic B00. As I sit here looking at this now I know I should have used an embossing folder for the top portion of the wall. Ugh, maybe next time! :) ... IF there's a next time. Let me tell ya there was a LOT of small pieces to cut and other "fun" (a little hint of sarcasm there) intricate details. The towels appear to be lopsided in the photo, but IRL they are not. I promise I lined up those towels! Ha!

Soooo would you like to know what the "S" stands for on the monogrammed towel set? :D Sassy Studio Spa!!! LOL!!! My hubs asked, "why didn't you put a "C" for Cantrell". I told him, because thats NOT me in that tub!, and "cuzzzz it's a Sassy design"! Duh! Kidddding!
Here's a close up.

Shhheeeesh! I've kept you here a LONG time! I apologize for that! Thanks so much for hanging out with me today! TTYL!

XOXO and a Really Cool Bag

Hello everyone!
Today I'm using the Greeting Farms Dressy Edward on a little Valentines that I made.
Do you ever have cards that you make and just want to chunk into yesteryear? Well, I sure do! This unfortunately is one of them! Ha! Don't get me wrong I love the image, but everything else really needs to go bye bye! Maybe I need to stop working on Valentines and start on something like Easter or Mothers day. lol
Anyways enough of me rambling! lol
I really like the way Edwards hair came out. Thanks to Jen for putting up a really nice tutorial on her blog. She made it look easy peasy! Now, my results are not the exact same as hers, but she so inspired me to think in a different direction when coloring hair. Thanks Jen!!! :)
One last thing before you go I have a bag to share with you that I received from Virginia of InStyle Stamps. Check out how cuuuute this bag is! I LOVE it! It's very roomy and sturdy and will hold a lot of crafting supplies when you are on the go or it will hold a nice amount of groceries. If you are wondering how you can get your hands on one of these go here to get all the deets! One way to get this bag is just pay $2.50 shipping and THAT'S IT! Wow! Great deal!
Thanks SOOO much for stopping by! :)

Be Mine

Hello everyone!!! Happy Thursday to you!
Sorry I'm running a bit late today, but
Blogger seemed to be having some issues.
Anyways, today I have yet another sweet little
Valentines to share with you. The image as you know
is from the Greeting farm.

I had the worst time trying to highlight

this chickas dress! Finally I gave up and just

colored it all one color! Ha!

Well, I won't keep you here any longer as

I am heading out the door to spend some time

with my hubby who has been out of town for

the past few weeks! I'm sooo glad he is home!

See you all soon! :D

Love

Hello everyone!!

Just want to say a BIG thank you

to each of you for stopping by so faithfully

each day and being so kind with the

comments that you leave. It truly means

more to me then you will ever know!

My card for you today is pretty

black and white... literally! :)

I used a few different Spellbinder dies to create the
backdrop; the Fleur De Lis Pendant and the Floral Accent and
then used my Cricut for the hearts. Card stock
is Papertrey Ink and the black

and white patterned paper is from Me and My Big Ideas.

BTW, I LOVE this pp pack because of the different textures

each page offers. For example the pp I used

on this card has a velvety feel. Really nice to the

touch!

Thanks again for stopping by. Hope each of you have
a fantastic happy day!! :)

See ya soon!

*Warning*

View at your own risk! lol

Today I have a card that I made for my DH for his birthday yesterday. He hit the big 40!
Please let me explain that I in NOOOOO way
have ever looked like this cat in
my whole life! (I will pretend in a former
life that I did. heehee)
Nor do I think he
has ever dated a cat like this
in the whole 40 years
he has been around!
A girl could only dream (me..anyways) to have legs
all the way up to
her neck! lol
This is an image I found at Sassy Studio Designs
and I thought it would make
a cute birthday card.

Recipe: CS-Papertrey, Stamp-Sassy Studio, Copics

I was also able to add a little pink!
Thanks for stopping by! Y'all are the BEST!
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend.
I am having some problems uploading to blogger this morning. Ugh! I've been trying for over an hour now to upload just ONE image. Not real sure what the issue is, but nonetheless I will have something to share with you shortly! :) Is anyone else having the same problem?

Hello everyone, I'm back with yet another Anya image from the Greeting Farm. :)

I had this bright idea that I would put a city background behind Anya to make her appear like she had been out shopping, well, someone else beat me to it! As I sat here last night "googling" for HOURS trying to find the perfect city back drop I found it! BUT, the city was created and used by another crafter so I knew immediately that I could not use it. Bummer!! Never fear, because my Cricut was near. LOL!!!
For this city background I used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. No, its not what I initially had intended, but it worked at the time. I basically felt like I had filleted this card and I wanted to just get it out of my sight ASAP before it ended up at the bottom of the "city" dump!

Hope each of you have a FANTASTIC Tuesday!!! :)

Jen is the amazing artist and owner of these adorable kids. Here is Violet looking oh so sweet in her baby doll dress and blingy accessories! This sweet image was released just yesterday. She is a doll!

Love

Hi everyone! :)

Today I have a sweet little "LOVE" card to share with you; again using my Cricut. You may be seeing a LOT of cards from me using this machine since it's my new toy. It really does the work for you. Ha! Whew, I needed something like that! lol...

All the solid color cardstock is Bazzill Bling Birthstones, which I LOVE! If you have never seen this stuff it is "blingy/sparkly"! The patterned paper is from DCWV, Sweet Stack.
